The 2009 Subaru Impreza is not redesigned for 2009, it is a carryover from 2002.  The Subaru Impreza has four trims.  These trims are the 2.5 TS Sport Wagon, 2.5 RS Sedan, WRX Sport Wagon, and the WRX Sedan.  The initial introduction, the 2.5 TS Sport Wagon is equipped with a 165-horsepower, 2.5-liter, H4 engine that provides 21-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway.  The WRX Sedan is equipped with a 227-horsepower, 2.0-liter, H4 engine that provides 20-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway. Overdrive is standard on both trims in a 5-speed manual transmission, and overdrive is optional in a 4-speed automatic transmission.  This Subaru Impreza is available in sports sedan or wagon.  It is a 4-door and seats up to 5 passengers.
