The 2009 Nissan Altima is a carryover
from 2002, not redesigned for 2009. The Altima
has four trims. These trims are the 2.5, 2.5
S, 2.5 SL, and the 3.5 SE. The initial introduction,
the 2.5 is equipped with a 175-horsepower, 2.5-liter,
I4 engine that provides 23-mpg in the city and 29-mpg
on the highway. The 3.5 SE is equipped with
a 245-horsepower, 3.5-liter, V6 engine that provides
21-mpg in the city and 26-mpg on the highway. Overdrive
is standard on both trims in a 5-speed manual transmission,
and overdrive is optional in a 4-speed automatic transmission.
This Altima is available in a sedan or sports sedan.
It is a 4-door and seats up to 5 passengers.
