The 2009 Mitsubishi Outlander is new for 2009.
The Outlander has four trims available. The
LS 2WD, LS AWD, XLS 2WD, and the XLS AWD. The
initial introduction, the LS 2WD is equipped with
a 140-horsepower, 2.4-liter, I4 engine that provides
21-mpg in the city and 26-mpg on the highway.
The XLS AWD is equipped with a 140-horsepower, 2.4-liter,
I4 engine that provides 20-mpg in the city and 25-mpg
on the highway. Overdrive is standard on both
trims in a 4-speed automatic transmission. This all
new Mitsubishi Outlander is a sport-utility.
It is a 4-door and seats up to 5 passengers.
