The 2009 Lexus LX still shows the shape of a boxy
truck. Boxy or not, it still looks very masculine
and handsome. 18-inch wheels come standard on the LX 470 and are shod in mud and snow rated tires. The LX 470 also has over 10 inches of ground clearance. All of these design features make the LX 470 look like it can handle any terrain it encounters. But this is still a Lexus, so some redesign had to be done to let everyone know that this ride was designed for comfort. Though, outside of the front grill and emblems, it's tough to differentiate the LX 470 from the Land Cruiser. Based on the Toyota Land Cruiser, LX is the largest vehicle in Lexus' line-up.
Thanks to the commanding ride height, mixed with the luxury that Lexus does so well, we do feel like true "kings of the road." Lexus' largest SUV adds a rearview TV camera as its major change for 2009. LX 470 is basically an upscale Toyota Land Cruiser with the same V8 and 5-speed automatic transmission. Both come with antiskid/traction control, antilock 4-wheel disc brakes, all-wheel drive with low-range gearing, and 3-row, 8-passenger seating. The LX adds 18-inch wheels, rain-sensing wipers, steering-wheel audio controls, and separate rear audio controls. Exclusive to it is Lexus' Adaptive Variable Suspension with driver-adjustable shock absorbers and ride height. Front torso and head-protecting 1st- and 2nd-row curtain side airbags are standard for LX, optional for Cruiser. Same goes for a voice-activated navigation system; its screen now shows a view from a rear-mounted camera when backing up.

Here's a tip you can use
before applying for any type of loan:
- Be sure to check your
own credit prior to the lender checking it. If you
find that your score is less than perfect you will want to
try and correct it if possible and if not, be sure that you
have a valid reason or explanation as to why you did not
take car of it. This will of course raise your chances
of obtaining a loan and assist the lender with making a good
decision.
No matter how you decide
to purchase your next vehicle, remember that by equipping
yourself with knowledge is giving yourself power, utilize all
the tools available to you prior to making your purchasing
decisions.
