The 2009 Honda CR-V is a carryover from 2002, not redesigned for 2009. The Honda CR-V is available in three trims.  These trims are 2WD LX, 4WD LX, and 4WD EX.  The initial introduction, the 2WD LX is equipped with a 160-horsepower, 2.4-liter, I4 engine that provides 23-mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway. Overdrive is standard in a 4-speed automatic transmission. The 4WD EX is equipped with 160-horsepower, 2.4-liter, I4 engine that provides 21-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway.  Overdrive is standard in a 5-speed manual transmission, and overdrive is optional in a 4-speed automatic transmission.  This Honda CR-V is a sport-utility.  It is a 4-door and seats up to 5 passengers.
